ABOUT US

The Iraqi Human Rights Group (IRAG) is an Organisation that was established to study and deal with the issue of Human Rights in Iraq.

The IRAG deeds are:

• IRAG upholds all the principles as mentioned in the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which appeared in the International Bill of Human Rights (as adopted and proclaimed by the General Assembly Resolution number 217a (111) on 10 December 1948).

• IRAG protects and defends the Iraqi people and refugees, and their rights while residing in the United Kingdom, EEC and other countries.

• IRAG defends the rights of all Iraqi prisoners of conscience detained because of their beliefs, ethnic origin, sex, colour and religion. No distinction of any kind shall be made against any Iraqi, because of their race, colour, sex, language, national or social origin, birth, or other status.
